I just saw it tonight and I was blown away. An amazingly well done adaptation by Tim Burton who once again shines with Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter, both of whom are fantastic. The supporting cast is great as well - Alan Rickman shines as an evil judge, (with a little bit of Snape in his character) and Timothy Spall as his apprentice (with a bit of Wormtail). Sasha Baron Cohen gives another hilariously overacted performance as well. I'm not going to call myself a fan of musicals, and this one is mainly a musical, but it was just awesome.

Got to wait until 25th January over here, but I am looking forward to it. Johnny Depp and Tim Burton together is always good. And Helena Bonham Carter! OMG!
