Point is, Ruth accomplished something easily, while Bonds accomplished the same thing and did it better on a even level playing field.

I get Leo's point on the racist remark as well. Only because if it were flipped and we were talking about Bonds only playing against black players and those said black players were inferior, I guarantee there would be a problem.

Or maybe Ruth using a cork bat? Maybe thats the reason why he hit more homeruns than teams combined, or maybe he was "allegedly cheating" as we all have heard that phrase before. Because if someone hits more homeruns today then a team combined, everyone wouldn't believe it and think/assume he's cheating and ect.

Now about Ruth not playing against minorities, if its a racist statement, I wasn't the first one to bring up this fact, Kevin Wheeler, Peter Gammons, and Stephen A Smith have it brought this question about ruth up one time or another, and two of them happen to be white americans.
