I am still saddened by the fact that I couldn't have a post final exams GTAIV marathon (it was supposed to come out like late November, but then it was pushed back to next year) though from the looks of the trailer, the wait will be worth it. The explosions and fire in the game look great (the graphics overall do actually) and the missions look to be a lot of fun if that's just not cutscenes type of stuff (which it doesn't look like.)

Dan Houser has said that virtually none of the characters from the previous games will be in this one, so this game's protagonist, unlike Claude, Tommy, and CJ, has no mob ties to the Leone or Forelli crime families.

Imo, that's fine, since the Russian dude isn't placed in the position of measuring up to those three guys as a hitman for the Italian Mafia.

That said, my favorite storyline of the series still is that of the Forelli crime family, mainly because I like mob prequels and a bit because Ray Liotta and Tom Sizemore voiced its two most prominent members.

Storyline wise, yes that was the best one, I'm still big on VC and Tommy though.

This is the only game I'm pretty much waiting for. I did however get Tomb Raider: Anniversary for the 360 but I am waiting for GTA4. I'm still ticked that it's release was pushed back to next year but it better perfect in every way.

That's fine if you have never played any of the games in the series. We all have different interests. For example, I wouldn't have any idea about what it's like to suck off a Tony Romo blowup doll.
