Okay, the opera scene where Palpy tells Anikin the story of Darth Plageis the Wise... He mentions that he could influence the Midichlorians to create life. He then taught his apprentice everything he knew. Did his apprentice (safe to assume that Palpy is Darth Plageis's apprentice) influence the Midichlorians to create Anikin?
I've thought of that and it could very well be the direction it goes. But if so, why didn't Palpatine or even his master go get Anakin when he was a child to train? I haven't read the book yet, it has a lot more things in it and more detail. Maybe something is told there.
