Well we need to add one more ex wrestler/manager to the list. Chris wife Nancy was a manager in WCW. She managed Dean Malenko. Here name there was ( Woman). She is on tv now from a match 10 years ago. Unbelievable how things work out in life. Just show you that any day/minute or second your time may be up.

RIP Chris and your family. He has a son and a daughter still around. Cant wait till we hear what they have to say.

That's why the question mark is in the title. WWE.com reported it and numerous wrestling sites have said this isn't a joke, with two WWE wrestlers either saying (Test) or posting (Gregory Helms) that he is actually dead. But there has been no legitimate news source yet, which for what seems to be a multiple homicide, is very, very strange.

This could be a really damn callous storyline, or real...

Ya its real, Vince was on camera saying tonight was suppose to be the remembering of his charecter but in reality Benoit is the one they should be remembering. Wow this is really sad one of the few guys I still enjoyed watching .

From all the sources I have read it sounds like something like a gas (CO?) leak in the house or something in that neighborhood.

Yeah, Carbon Monoxide is one of the leading culprits, but that doesn't really explain Benoit, does it? I mean, it feasibly could, but it's being investigated as a homicide right now.

Truly sad. He was one of my favorite wrestlers when I watched wrestling, back in the WWF days.

He was one of the true wrestlers that came from a big highschool and college wrestling career and you could see it in his tactics and manuevers in the ring. I haven't followed wrestling that much, but he was one of the most entertaing to watch.

this is surreal. i was upset that he didn't wrestle last night cause punk vs beniot would have been MOTN easy. to find this out is just unbelievable. i had wrestling on auto execute cause i would more than likley be asleep by the time it came on only to find vince breaking kayfabe and the storyline(which is sad bc i wanted the vince character dead until next year, as planned. they needed to bring back a GM on raw, like mick or someone) and saying tonight was canceled and its a beniot tribute. its just too crazy to know that his last match was on ECW and he would have won the ECW championship.
