It's doing it again on and off, again after returning from my dad's.

Could if have something to do with connecting to another router/modem the laptop isn't used to connecting to and then returning to the normal one?

It's been working fine on my brother's laptop, minus one hiccup earlier, all the while giving me headaches ever since I got back from my dad's.

Can it be a router issue when it seems to be transmitting to my brother's laptop just fine while connecting and disconnecting from mine? (or having poor connections or whatever)

Both times this has happened has been after getting back from my dad's and using his wireless for the previous two days.

I'm getting 54 mbps now, which I haven't gotten since this started going on again and I've been connected for the longest stretch of time since I got home.

Maybe all I need to do is go to a message forum and start asking for help, it did the trick last time.
