D'Backs Long Toss Vs MIles per hour

I was wondering of ANYONE AT ALL could tell me the relation between the two i have heard 260 feet equates to 80 mph and also have heard that 305 feet equates to 90 but i also have heard that 286 feet equates to 78 miles per hour. Can anyone out here help me with solving this problem once and for all and alteast give me an idea of the relation between the two. (i think everyone can agree that people that throw harder can throw farther) I would like some answers because i know the two relate somewhat

There's no true barometer. Really, the arc you get on the ball has nothing to do with how hard you throw, we had this discussion with the Baseball coach at FU.

Someone can throw 300 feet and only throw about 70, it's not really relative.

There most likely is correlation to a certain extent, but a precise speed cannot be found through long toss alone.

I have a pretty bad long toss IMO, and I throw pretty hard for a 14-year old. (Not sure on the radar speed, though.)
