I typically prefer to avoid the politics in this thread but since the subject is already broached, screw it.

I'm becoming more and more jaded when it comes to politics. Nobody wants to take the only party that pushes for personal freedoms across the board seriously because both sides have each other so convinced that if they let the other side control anything we'll turn into a post apocalyptic dystopia. The right thinks if the Left controls everything we'll instantly become Communist Russia. The Left thinks that if they let the right control anything we'll instantly become Nazi Germany. And everyone's so scared of this that they stick with the status quo and keep this never ending cycle going while the party that pushes for freedom with our paychecks and freedom with our personal lives keeps racking up single digit vote results.

But whatever. Political parties are stupid anyway. They force us to pick a package of ideals and put us into boxes. I just think that within the system we have the Libertarians have the best ideas...even if does tend to attract some anarchists who want to abolish government entirely calling themselves "Libertarian".

The House. They lost seats in the Senate. Which I think may be because of the way the Kavanaugh thing was handled.

As long as elections are powered by big money special interests, if the Libertarian Party ever becomes big, you just know the cockroaches will influence them as they do under the same old obligarchy that exists now disguised as the "left" and the "right". Just like if you pour enough money to the Padres, they'll become the new Dodgers and cease to stand for wwhatever the Padres stand for right now.
