Well, at least your checking them out. Once you listen to at least 2 tracks, PLEASE leave me what you think.

I've heard of them and maybe heard a song or two, but that's about it...
I recommend you listen to some true and classic MUSIC and gain appreciation of what music really is...
If you're into more soulful stuff... Marvin Gaye's I Want You, Stevie Wonder's Songs in the Key of Life
If you're into rock.... Black Sabbath's Paranoid, or Van Halen I
If you are into rock, but want a more polished album with supreme sound quality.... Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon (or Wish You Were Here), or Fleetwood Mac's Rumours...
If you are into Jazz.... John Coltrane's A Love Supreme, or Miles Davis's Birth of the Cool....
expand your mind
I've heard much of that stuff Dave ( I know you weren't posting that for me). I took a history of jazz class during undergrad and we listened to all kinds of jazz and such. But yea, some of these younger guys don't realize where some of the music today came from. I do listen to some older stuff on a regular basis like the cure, joy division, new order, and stuff like that
I've heard Shallow, it's not too bad. Only one I've heard from them though.Originally Posted by Cardinal Optimist

I'm gonna check them out too, I've been getting into some rock stuff lately and I've always been interested in listening to the music you rave about.Originally Posted by Cardinal Optimist

Nah, not yet. I don't really like Little Sister, so I'm kinda try to wait until there's a good single before I pick it up.Originally Posted by ATLien

Yeah. I bought a used version of that for under $10 a few weekends ago. Great CD. I also recommend Jimi Hendrix - Are You ExperiencedOriginally Posted by awefullspellare
Geez, I owned G'n'R back when ATL was still digging in your diapers and wiping the findings on the wall, and before Awefull was even born. :p Outstanding album. Too bad about Axl being the whack job he is. That band had a ton of talent and could have been beyond huge.
I remember GnR back before my mom got married again. Me and my sister use to sign Janie's Got a Gun all the time when I was little. Ooooh, good times.
Breaking Benjamin- We Are Not Alone
Snow Patrol- Final Straw
Nas- Street's Discple (actually give it a try DD before writing it off)
