    Tivo Alert: Baseball's Secret Formula (Discovery Science channel, tonight 9 PM EST)

    Obviously it's on the influence of sabermetrics on the game. If you know most of the more commonly used stats, I doubt you will learn all that much. But I expect it should be interesting at least to see the interviews with GM's and players (probably a Bill James appearance too.)

    They will be re-showing it several times after the original air time as well. Just a heads up. And speaking of those type of channels, I also see there is new Mythbusters and Dirty Jobs this week too on the original Discovery Channel.
