Cheap Seats Series Finale... I am hoping it wasn't true. But with the way it ended, I could see them playing it off as a joke (although a new show with The Score Settler and Johnny Damon wouldn't be half bad.)

Anyway, everyone looking forward to the holiday break (either from work or school)? God knows I am, I've been needing a break so badly as of late.

I know I am looking forward to it, because I need it too.

I've had so much work over the last week or so, including, but not limited to:

*My latest article in the school newspaper, which involved calling several sources (I've had a lot of articles in the paper this semester

*Taping for my package for my TV Reporting class- took several hours to do last week. Also had to write my script for that class and then did most of the editing for it (finishing up Monday after Thanksgiving since due Tuesday)

*A different journalism class: had to write an obituary story, go to the police station to do a criminal records search/write down information on a newsworthy case

*I have to write a paper for my journalism ethics class

*I have also had several other assignments, some of which have been long

    In conclusion:

    Bring on break!
The Simpson family gathers around, as Homer places Bart's passed test on the fridge.)

Homer: We're proud of you, boy.

Bart: Thanks, Dad. But part of this D-minus belongs to God.

Hey Fish, did you catch Will Arnett on Conan last night? If so, wasn't the theme music great?

  5. #1205
...crap. Was it the L&O theme song (if so, that's always great), or was it another one?

Nope, he didn't air play it. He had Max and the gang play him an original theme song to come out to (essentially glorifying himself.) It was pretty funny as you obviously don't see that everyday on a late night show.

No episodes of the Office tonite makes me upset. At least, we get Scrubs back next Thursday.

I went Black Friday shopping today. Oddly enough, I bought a good amount of stuff for myself, so it's my own Christmas (gift-wise). Couldn't pass up the Simpsons DVD sets that I was missing for 16 bucks a piece.

Where at Fish, was it a chain place? Because I am missing a few.

Anywho, I slept til 10:45 today. If I had any money, I suppose I would of went out for the TV rush, but the PS3 killed my funds.

    Target.

Has seasons one through eight for sixteen bucks a piece, at least where I was. They had other shows for 16 as well (Most notably, 24 (S1-S4), all were sold out except S1 and one copy of S3, which I snapped up)

And basically, I'm running on about 200 in the bank account and pocket change for a couple weeks.

Of course, if it's an early season, they're only slightly more expensive on Amazon, and later on, still not that much more. Plus, it's only the regular sets and not the "collectable" ones. But still, 16 bucks, nice stuff

Oh no doubt. I've been meaning to get season 5 for awhile now and given that all episodes have commentary and aren't cut for syndication, it really it a sweet deal.

As a result of a nice $1000 refund from overpayment of my tuition, I ordered a bunch of movies last night that I've been meaning to get.

Audition, Devil's Advocate, Garden State, Hour of the Wolf, Cop Land, M, Kibakichi, Sweeney Todd (Broadway edition), Fargo, Casino, Taxi Driver, couple of Lon Chaney flicks (The Ace of Hearts, The Unknown, The Penalty, Laugh Clown Laugh), Deep Red, Faust, Pulp Fiction, Dr. Strangelove, Scent of a Woman, Serpico, and the final piece to the puzzle - I finally got the god damn Godfather collection.

If I hadn't burned so much on those, I'd be picking up a season or two of the original Twilight Zone.

It's nice to have a big surplus of money and already having my Christmas shopping for everyone done, means I can just spend like a retard.

The Prison Break fall finale was a little slice of awesomeness.
