I'll be playing in a road hockey tourney next week and I hope I well, but I hate using that orange hard street/road hockey ball

What, like the NHL Breakout Tourny? I love going to that thing sometimes. It's too much of a ***** to assemble teams for NARCH or TORHS or whatever, but that's always a lot lighter and just fun to do despite playing in sometimes blazing heat.

its nothing big like that, its only a 1 day event. Its just set up as a local event though one of restaurants i think, i don't run the team only got invited to play just recently so I don't know the full rules yet but last year they took one of the rinks in town and rented it, they spilt the rink up into 3 parts and go from board to board (so side to side for a full effect) and last year i got stuck in the middle so we had no boards to play the ball off when going to the other net, I think they have 3 divisions for play level and can get quite busy.

I didn't do well last year since we never practiced, and I was only called out of the blue as a replacement.

I just saw the music video for Snakes On A Plane (I think that was the singer from Midtown), anyway, does anyone else feel that if this was released like April/May it would of been so much more optimal? That was like the peak of the hype (maybe a bit past it). It's still going to be hilarious to see, and Sam Jackson is the man, but it just feels like it's getting so dragged out. But I suppose when the hype machine is the collective sarcastic asshole that is known as the internet, about everything gets played out.
