I love the tabs.
I have tabs on my aol explorer... which is on my computer.
My brokedown ghetto-lized 56k computer.
Marshall: MILSWANCAs?
Ted: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.
Barney: Circle gets the square!

Safari.
But then you have to have half a brain to be using a Mac in lieu of the dreaded PC
Mosaic

Dave, you use mosaic on a PC or something else?
It was actually a joke... Being the first major browser... trying to joke about my age
I am actually a Firefox nut... all hacked and tweaked out

Otherwise, just give me a straight up text box and I'll insert the crap manually like I used to with vbulletin 2.0. I -can- do that, but I shouldn't have to.
Then, this is what happens when I actually click the
bold button, or any of the other formatting buttons.
Look where the Bold tags went!
Can someone please tell my why the **** that happens? I know it's not supposed to ****ing happen, but every damn time, it does. Yes, I know of ways around it, but sometimes when I'm tying up some big long diatribe on whatever subject/topic in particular, I let my fingers do the walking and when I'm done, I then go back and highlight, bold, italicize, etc.
Want to see bullets? This is fun too:
And the result of the highlighted text and then clicking the bullet link:
That's sexy, isn't it? Another thing that I love?! Ctrl-Z doesn't back out (undo) the move. Like damn nearly everything in Windows will undo when you hit Ctrl-Z, in firefox, it doesn't. So then I have to manually go up and delete the fukt up tags and do it manually anyway. Again, this should NOT be what happens.
How about this, smilies. Yeah, those get inserted in just the right spot every single time. Well, they are on the right page at least. That must count for something, right?
Should I continue?
I am a moron. I knew/know what mosaic is, but I read it as Mozilla. That's what I use on my Sun box.Originally Posted by DiamondDave

Lynch, man you're on a roll today. I'm ROTF here! Thanks for the comic relief.
I don't have that problem with FF on the Mac but like I said I have to stick with Safari cuz I can't be without that spell checker. Even then sometimes it doesn hlep.
It was Lynx.. and yeah.. I drove myself nuts with that one too...
I never have problems like you are seeing.. and I run Firefox on Windows and Linux.... then again, I have tweaked it so much, it does not really resemble the original download

Yeah, when going through the tests for the new styles, I went through about every feature on site and in Firefox... all of which worked as expected. But I have heard about others dealing with a similar problem with vbulletin sites and Firefox, I wonder why it works flawless for some and not others.
I dunno. I'm pretty sure that DK described nearly the exact same results with him and Firefox as well
I have always typed my codes in. I use IE most of the time just because I'm at work all day but I never have at any problem with forums. I will have to check it out when I get home today.
