    Rangers Arthur Rhodes DFA'd

    Rangers designated LHP Arthur Rhodes for assignment.
    Rhodes was made expendable this weekend when the Rangers padded the back end of their bullpen with top setup men Koji Uehara and Mike Adams. Rhodes, 41, had a 4.81 ERA and 1.48 WHIP in 32 appearances this year for Texas.
    From All Star last year to being DFA'd this year. I can see a team taking a chance on him, maybe the Angels who need bullpen help.

    I'm sure he will be released with the Rangers having to pay all but league minimum. There is some talk that has the Cards interested. He seems like a TLR kind of guy.

    Rhodes will be released and the Cards and Phillies have been linked to him.

    Just a year removed from a pretty nice 2008-2010 stretch with 3 different teams.
