Per Rotoworld:
In 31 AB's, Jones has hit .258 with one homer, two doubles and two RBI's. But he has also stuck out fourteen times while drawing only three walks. The Dallas Morning News reports that "it looks more and more likely that the Rangers won't" keep Andruw Jones.
Jones can opt out of his minor league contract Friday if he's not on the 40-man roster. "We'll see what happens Friday," Jones said. "We'll probably make our decision. They probably will make their decision soon. The main thing is to go out there and get at-bats and get the work in that you need."
Will another MLB club give him a spot on a 25 man roster or will he be forced to accept a AAA assignment to prove he can perform still?
