With that trade, the Mets have no remaining player from the trade of Jeromy Burnitz to LA.
Diaz showed some signs of talent last year for the Mets, but he was very much unrefined talent, and currently there is no space in the mets outfield, now or in the future. This trade doesn't seem very meaningful.
