Yeah, Padilla looked pretty freaking good. Same with Wilkerson and Nevin. And Nix...he looks like he could break me....with solely a forearm.

It's great to see one of the new starters getting the job done. Especially against a dangerous Redsox offense in a hitters park. The final score was only 10-4 but it could have been a much higher scoring game. Both teams left 22 men on base, the most being 7 by Nix.
Hopefully Kam Loe can follow Padilla's lead. Could be a bit tougher though going up against Josh Beckett.

Damn, I was really hoping there would have taken 2 of 3 from the Sox.
Padilla got the win today and has both of the Rangers wins so far this season as they gave the Tigers their 1st loss of the season.Originally Posted by Raphictor

The Rangers is off to a slow start. Teixeria has yet hit a HR, so hopefully he can get one soon.
Yea, Lackey shut them down last night.
Rangers lost again (2 - 7 now) and Kinsler looks to be headed to the DL with a dislocated thumb.

Kinsler is on the DL and Gary Matthews is off the DL to take his spot. John Koronka got his first win last night against the Angels in an 11 - 3 game.
If any Rangers fans are on, feel free to stop by the A's forum this weekend. We've got a series thread going there. Tonight is Millwood vs. Zito...it's got the makings of a good game.
Padilla got his 1st loss of the season today giving up 4 homers in the process.
I never really liked Padilla. I remember him from a couple seasons ago when he was on the Phillies, just seemed like a horrible SP who could just never stay consistent. So it doesn't surprise me he gave up 4 HRs. He'd get killed in Comerica Park.Originally Posted by Providence A's

Well that's what matters. Even in though first two games (One against Det.), he pitched pretty good despite the BB/K ratio. But it's just his style to not keep his good pitching up.
He'll suck it up for the rest of the season. I don't think he'll ever return to his 02/03 form. His best seasons.
