Zodious, I would recommend keeping anyone 28 and under. Especially 26 and under. They will be around for 6 years of MLB baseball before they become FAs. A GM who sells a young developed MLB player almost never gets full value in return. Build around them, not trade them for prospects who risk development and crashing.

I 100% echo that. Most people are going to do nothing but try to take advantage of your greenness in the league. You're in better shape than most teams if you build around the great young talent you already possess.

+1 you'd need 2 stud specs and a 1st round pick before you should even think about it

I definately was not getting near the talent I thought I might.... I'm going to take the 15 GMs advice and build with them... plus, I'm younger than the cubs and cards... so I have a future... I hope
