Doug Waechter (finger) allowed seven runs in 3 2/3 innings in a minor league rehab start at Triple-A yesterday.
Despite the awful outing, Waechter will likely start for the Devil Rays Monday against Boston.

I hope this doesn't mean the Devil Rays basketball ringer (Hendrickson) will be going to the pen. He just had a Carl Pavano in 2003 caliber outing (no outs, bunch of runs) against the Sox on Wednesday and he's been horrible. He can keep Brazelton out if he wants, or even better, I bet Kazmir would be a fantastic long reliever...>_>
