Luke Scott signs a one year deal with an option for 2013. I really hope this doesn't end the Rays pursuit of Pena or Damon.
I welcome Luke Scott, but according to Johnny it does end his hopes of returning and he is NOT happy about it! I was hoping he would return and I still hold out hopr for a Pena return.

He's only "controversial" because he is outspoken about his political views which happen to lean right. He’s been accused of being a racist from outside sources because as everyone knows a white person isn’t allowed to “police” his non-white friends/teammates behavior . Only the same race is allowed to bring someone’s negative antics up to their face. His third strike is, he openly shows his religious devotion which seems to be very unpopular right now, just look at the criticism of Tebow.
He’s a ball player ….as long as he isn’t threatening to shoot any of his ethnic teammates while spouting the Lord’s prayer, stays healthy , hits for a decent average and helps my club, he can be as “controversial” as he wants.

I couldn't care less about his political views or if he's racist. I just want to know about the health of his shoulder and if he will be able to regain his power.
