Make that 4-0, probably going to be an early night for Price.

Buente arrived to the OC in the 5th, warms up and gets in the game in the 7th, talk about putting someone straight to work.
A's win 6 - 1. Maybe they can win the series. I didn't expect them to beat Price.
A bit curious that Upton has been left out of the line up 2 games in a row.
Sam Fuld just made an awesome throw to home to get Ryan Sweeney trying to score in the 2nd.
On to the 3rd, 0-0.
10 - 0 A's after 4...Shields getting hung out to dry.
Shields is getting completely lit up, giving up 9 runs in the 4th, now 10-0.
Jennings hit his first HR today while driving in four. Good game for him!! Upton also went deep.
So, did Longo....Desmond has been awesome.
Rays continue playing bull pen roulette. Calling up and sending down 4 relief pitchers in the past week and a half. Jake McGee seems to be the old timer at just over the two week mark and is making the trip to Seattle. Mike Ekstrom was called up yesterday and is also making the trip to Seattle but probably because he wasn’t used.
The Rays broke a very old record on Wednesday, when they played their 705th consecutive game with a starting pitcher under the age of 30, James Shields. He also started the streak on May 25, 2007. The record had been held by the 1913-1917 Washington Senators. It was about the only highlight of the day since Shields who has kept other teams to minimal scoring while getting no run support from the Rays offense gave up 10 earned runs, 9 in the 4th inning alone.
In a reversal of fortune Wade Davis gave up 5 runs in the first inning on Thursday, but settled down to pitch 5 scoreless innings, the Rays were able to capitalize on a tiring Harden and the combo of Breslow and Zeigler to put up 2 runs in the 6th and 7 in the 7th to avoid the sweep.
On the Damon watch, he now has 2,677 tied at 65 with Luis Aparicio, on the doubles list he remains tied with Babe Ruth at 47 with 506.
Sorry I didn’t interact much this series I have been a little under the weather.
