    Rays Grant Balfour ~ RP [R]

    Grant Balfour has bruising and swelling on his right elbow after being hit by a line drive on Saturday, but believes he'll be fine.

    It sounds like Balfour could miss his scheduled appearance on Tuesday, but the injury doesn't appear that it will be a significant problem going forward.

    Reid Brignac's hefty homer to rightfield tied the game 3-3 in the seventh. Grant Balfour is on the mound for the Rays.

    Balfour got into trouble, then got out of it by striking out Brian Bixler with the bases loaded to preserve the tie.
