Because people can change their mind thus potentially leaving someone screwed. I am not saying that will happen but there is a chance. And if I let a few people have their picks locked in earlier, than potentially more will want to. I know you guys think I am a dick but I have been in these kinds of leagues for years and I know the potential problems that can arise. Then there is the fact that I don't do this league for my health and actually the draft is pretty fun. If we can 15-20 to show up, talk smack and discuss the league.... I can dig it.
