Colorado vs Chicago
Colorado's Power in Chicago's stadium will be way too much for the poor unlucky cubbies. The Cubs are tied for 17th in HR's allowed going against the #1 homer club. Though Chi Sports one of the best home records, I don't expect them to win but one game in this bad luck draw after losing the one game playoff to Pitt.

Prediction: Colorado 3 - Cubs 1

Florida vs Pittsburgh
If Florida's pitching holds up this could be an easy win for Florida. But there's never anything easy in the S3SL playoffs. Pittsburgh's bats could be woken in this slugfest. The Pirates are looking to avenge last seasons 3 games to 2 playoff loss to the Marlins. I believe this year will be just as close. Just the opposite direction. As Floridas main guns and leftys and Pitts hits leftys very well. Will be fun to see.

Prediction: Pittsburgh 3 - Florida 2

ALDS
Minnesota vs Baltimore
This one is being harolded as the "Granddaddy of them all." As Baltimore has the seventh oldest team and Minnesota holds the 8th. But as these two tenatious vetterans go at it, Baltimore is hoping that Minnestoas mental state is on their recent playoff collapses. As they try to avoid a first round exit for the fourth straight year.

I think the series will fall all on how well treadwell does. Minnesota does not fair well vs leftys so Crespo should really have a good chance. But if Treadwell has great game Minnesota will be in trouble. Unfortunately for Baltimore I just don't see a 37 year old cry baby taking down a juggernaut of a team.

Prediction: Minnesota 3 Baltimore 1

Kansas City vs Oakland
Will the luck of last year hold true for the Royals this year? Or will the Dominant staff that Oakland has keep the royals off the bases. Its strength against strength as the 3rd best runs against team plays the 3rd best runs scored team. Its a Team thats .608 against Rightys vs an all righty's staff. Its two teams that pride themselves on getting on base with two of the top 5 avg teams go at it.

When the dust settles One team will be left standing, One team has an edge the other doesn't. I think that Oakland is just a touch better in most areas. If the sim gods are movie goers, this seires will come down to one at bat. Nathan Foy on the mound for Oak and John Bessette at the plate for KC. (These two were traded for each other earlier this season).... 1-0 Oak leads, Bottom of the ninth, full count, bases loaded... Is the fastball coming... or the slider.....

Prediction: Oakland 3 - Kansas City 2

Pittsburgh vs Colorado
On paper, this looks as an epic mismatch, A San Diego/San Fransisco Super Bowl 29 if you will. However the last time these two played in the NLDS, Pitts outlasted Col 4 games to 3. Unfortunately, Thats the best I can give Pittsburgh in this situation. Colorado is best in all senarios. Sorry Zito, I got nothin....

Prediction: Colorado 4 - Pitts 0

ALCS
Minnesota vs Oakland
What may be the saving grace for Baltimore with Minnesota will ultimately be Oaklands undoing. Lack of Southpaws. Though games may be lower scoring than Minnesota would like, ultimately their bats will come through. Minnesota makes it to the World Series for the first time in 4 years.

Minnesota vs Colorado
Lets face it, this is the only series that would give this season any sort of legitamacy. The two teams that ran away with their own leagues. Minnesota who prides itsself on getting on base and collecting the RBIs. Colorado who could care less about getting on base and more about knocking the cover off the baseball. This series will ultimately come down to pitching. Something Colorado has a lot of but Minnesota does not lack. I think it will be a close one down to the wire. But I think the fact that Colorado has home field advantage will go a long way.

Prediction: Colorado 4 - Minnesota 3
