TSSL: Seattle Mariners 2006-2029, Pittsburgh Pirates 2030-present (209-277, 5 division titles w/SEA, 1 championship w/SEA)
I'd wait until he hits another point or two in his power or eye, but I am usually a bit more cautious with calling up big prospects like that.

I am too, at the same time I'm tired of being 8-24 as well.

If he were younger, I'd wait. He's 25 so I wouldnt wait TOO much longer.
I'd hold off until he crushed AAA. I hurt Bartolo Sanchez by calling him up before he was ready, he never reached his potential.
Did Sanchez lose talent, cause he seems to have rounded out.
Play him, I doubt it's going to matter much if you keep him in AAA or promote him. If he's going to develop, he'll do it no matter which level he's in.
Marshall: MILSWANCAs?
Ted: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.
Barney: Circle gets the square!

I side with Mission, et. al. I kept Sitz down in Molina's league until he was completely filled out in contact almost filled out in power and eye. I read on the OOTP boards that players are coded to develop more in AAA than in MLB, however, I qualify that by saying the guy may not have known what he was talking about. For the most part, I think he is right. Not always, but more often than not, if a player is played a level above where he should be, he crashes in talent. I'd err on the side of caution. Billy Beane said something along the lines of either being a contender or a rebuilder, but being in the middle gets you nothing.
Look at it this way... What would CJ do?
This is true. Arizona will suck regardless where Overlock plays.
Oh, and what OM failed to mention is while he let a beast rot in AAA, the OOTP karma Gods have kicked his ass lately. Huzzzzah!
Yeah, he lost a couple points in contact, power, and eye. He was something like 9-8-10-10 when he was drafted him. He crushed at AAA for all of 50 games so I called him up thinking he was young enough to break every S3SL record, but he never developed and then his talent dropped.
No matter what I will suck. I do want to see if he will fill out his power a little more before calling him up. He just turned 25 this season. So this is his supposed last year of development. I would prefer to have him sit until next season for a ROY chance (not like the infamous Manseau's ROY). He has improved his actuals in every sim since forcing him in AAA.

After looking over my decent hitting roster (which is medicore for this league) I decided to call up Overlock now. It allows me to put Vanvalkenberg (the ageless wonder) back at his natural 3B for now. This also allows me to move the hot hitting Ospina to LF to platoon with Larry Jackson. My pitching is still going to be 8.00 ERA bad untill I can sign a good FA or two and draft a couple more SPs.
