Jesse Cone just knows how to hit. I loved having him on the bench but at that cost it would have been impossible for me to keep him.

The only problem with Cone in Minnesota is 1) No DH, 2) He can't play defense, 3) He platooned with Hickmon. Nilles boosted AFTER he left Minnesota I never had an opportunity with him at his current level. Plus considering the fact he only played 30 games in 2 following seasons in Pit shows why he was non tendered when Hunt (i believe) was ready.
