Whatever the case, thanks to Houston for giving me a bright spot in this sim. It would have been a bit disappointing if not for that. Starting pitching is more horrible than I expected.

Sweet, both my emails from this past sim are retirement notices.
Marshall: MILSWANCAs?
Ted: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.
Barney: Circle gets the square!

And a 38 year old gained talent! HGH! HGH!

Not a horrible start for Baltimore, record wise..

Alberto Bermejo took a dump all over himself... lost 2 in every rating category.. the fasted drop in talent and rating I have seen for someone not like 39... well.. so much for him being viable for at least this season... though he did get a grand slam for his 3000th hit... but don't think many more hits will be coming his way
And though Crespo took over the career league lead in wins and is only 8 behind in the career total for K's.. no mention in the breaking news... good job for my aging ace

Attention Alvin get your stuff in line because I will bench your stupid bat for a guy who's proven that he can produce in Minnesota in Ruvalcaba.
My pen gets McNinch back next sim. Which should improve the depth.

Lollercoaster @ houston.
Smathers is so bad he broke OOTP. He's projected to have less walks than he currently has.
San Diego off to a surprising 10-4 start with zero changes from last year. Galindo gained some talent, but his ratings are still waaay behind.

I sign guys that were better than who I had last season and started out worse. Vanvalkenberg is on pace for 54 HRs as a 38 yr old. He could be this years Barry Bonds.

TSSL: Seattle Mariners 2006-2029, Pittsburgh Pirates 2030-present (209-277, 5 division titles w/SEA, 1 championship w/SEA)
WTF, San Diego off to a 19-8 start, and a 3.5g lead in the WC?????
I know its all smoke and mirrors though. My offense is awesome, but my pitching ERA is a deceptive 4th....I think. We'll see how this plays out.
In theory, we all will get our asses handed to us by Colorado. 20-7 is like a slump for them. I've been in this league long enough to witness monstrous teams in Florida, Minnesota, Pittsburgh, and Anaheim but o have never witnessed a team like Colorado.
But maybe SD is risin' up against the oppressor. Praise Jesus, aye man.
Methinks I'll start Ware at 2B next sim. I better go call the nursing home
