I don't even think Davila or Villegas did something like this, and those were easily the greatest hitters I've owned in a league:

    Friday 8/1/2035 :
Javier Barbosa was named NL-Batter of the Month!
He batted .430 in 114 AB, with 17 homers and 53 RBI.
One more good month, and Granberry's RBI record goes by the wayside.

    I'd take the under....record was last year. Wins : 134, Losses : 28, Pct. : .827 ....this year's version is just a poor knockoff.

BTW, Colorado is a JUGGERNAUT! 100-37 pyth record with a month to go! I don't know what the season win record is off the top of my head, but if I were at Vegas and the record was an over/under, I'd take the over! Great Job Albbla, I've never seen such a dominant franchise in OOTP.

Didn't know that. 137-28 appears to be unbeatable!

I don't think his ratings were nearly as studly though. That and there was more overall talent in TSSL.

The Padres hit a rough patch, and lost 5 of 6 to Florida and Colorado, now 4 games out of the NLWC, but have a good chance to make up some ground with a 3 game set coming up against the Cubs.

    Batting AVG: .283 (13th)
    Homeruns: 230 (3rd)
    Walks: 546 (11th)
    Stolen Bases: 89 (22nd)
    Runs Scored: 811 (13th)

    Pitching ERA: 4.50 (5th)

    HRs Allowed: 128 (7th)
    Walks Allowed: 355 (4th)

Still a 4.5 game lead with this team of declining veterans, patchwork pieces, and undeveloped youth... unbelievable...

Stick a fork in Washington, we're done.
Offense is good, already three 100 run/100 RBI guys and Dee should score 100, but the pitching totally killed me.

Na you still are the favorite, I'm just getting a little lucky/hot at the right time right now on offense.

    Batting AVG: .298 (1st)
    Homeruns: 208 (9th)
    Walks: 615 (8th)
    Stolen Bases: 219 (8th)
    Runs Scored: 1012 (2nd)

    Pitching ERA: 4.37 (3rd)
    Opponents AVG: .259 (2nd)
    HRs Allowed: 110 (1st)
    Walks Allowed: 390 (3rd)
    Runs Allowed: 706 (3rd)

Sticking with the minimum just to try and keep the hot streak going (11-2 this sim)

Blerg, great time to sh$t the bed, San Diego. 4-7 sim, swept by the Cubs, 5.5 games back. Looks like another year with no playoffs. Damn you OOTP for getting my hopes up.
