    Re: Discussion about Tanking

Toronto, Mets, and Houston deserve a five slot drop/penalty in the next draft order! General, Porter, and myself are examples of GMs who are fielding full teams in an effort to win what we can with our MLB ready players. For the last 5 years, Houston has had a top 2 pick. How many years does it take to rebuild?

And I completely agree. White Sox are in the same boat, or were. I think they're in better hands now but it doesn't take away from 2-3 years of obvious tanking.

I am all for punishing them as per the manifesto but that's on Mission.

    Re: Discussion about Tanking

Before you go punishing the White Sox, I started with a team that had like 7 players(2 of which were pitchers) on the MLB roster for the first few sims, and then F/A scraps to fill out the rest. Puga and Gerald are the only prospects who could play in the majors, but I feel a 3 stuff rating and a 2 discipline rating needs some development first. I've resigned the players that I need to stick around to be competitive and plan on being aggressive in free agency in the offseason.

I tried to stick with teams that appear to have a GM. IMHO, the open teams are the Commish's responsibility so I did not include them. I just don't like the idea of losing the first (this past draft, although it didn't hurt me in the first round) pick or a high pick to a GM who neglects his team for 5 years and collects top draft picks. Especially in this league where the 1st pick may be the only potential elite player in the draft.

Overlock fell to #9, I know you picked for me that draft but there would have been no way I let him get past 9, heck maybe even the top 5. I think the TC/Mish will make the right decision and just let it ride out. I think I might have the worst staff ever. Even with Raymond Johnson

Okay the White Sox are worse. Only because I traded for Raymond Johnson.

The white sox should have been punished in their last regime, but they weren't, is my argument. From here on out, it won't be an issue for that team. We now need to drop the teams OM has pointed out down on the draft order next season as strict punishment for their douchebaggery. And frankly, there's no reason why they shouldn't be.

Doesn't matter, if the White Sox were to be punished should have been before a new gm was found.

I should tank. 90 win seasons and no playoffs to show for it seems pretty pointless.

I called up my top specs, I've sent 2 PM's to try and fill out the back end of the bullpen (both times guys were gone and it went through the cracks) but to say I'm not even fielding my best team is LOL... i called up all of my top 3 specs and they are crushing... sorry that specs are dying in the system...

After the last couple years.?.?.?. This is a trend. This is not a one-time, "fall through the cracks" issue.
