    D'Backs 2031 Arizona Diamondbacks

    The Starting Lineup:

    CA: Amadis Garcia* (10-10-8-10-6)
    1B: Raymond Cronan vs R (8-7-8-6-6)/Ryan Carroll vs L (7-7-8-9-7)
    2B: Daniel Mitchell (8-5-8-5-9)
SS: Nick Dreyer vs R (8-10-8-7-6)/Oliver Desantiago vs L (6-8-9-8-5)
    3B: Mark Ball (8-8-4-8-7, 9-9-4-9-8 vs L)
LF: Ryan Carroll vs R (8-7-8-8-7)/Nick Dreyer vs L (7-10-8-6-5)
    CF: Jason Orvis (6-9-8-10-7)
    RF: Bill Cosby (8-7-5-9-6)

    The Bench (not mentioned above)
    CA: Carl Holmes (8-8-6-7-5)
    IF: Curtis Roche (7-6-5-6-6)
    OF: JC Carrillo (7-9-7-7-5)

Gone is the heart of the DBack offense in Vanvalkerberg to the EVIL empire in Pittsburgh. More of a transition period while the farm is restocked. Only Cronan and Carroll are the returning starters from last season. Holmes no longer has to play 162 games a season. Roche adds versatility off the bench. Carillo was benched for Orvis who gets on base more often.

    The Rotation
    1. LH Daniel Saunders (7-9-9)
    2. RH Luke Hudson (7-8-9)
    3. RH Valerio Mendez (7-10-7)
    4. RH Thomas Buteau (5-8-8)

There is no true #1 starter. Had to over pay for Hudson so there wouldn't be a 3 man rotation. Rotation is aging fast. Buteau actually won 23 games last season.

    The Bullpen
    CL. RH Melvin Daigenault (9-9-10)
    2. RH Mike McCloskey (8-7-9)
    3. RH Samuel Cascio (7-6-10)
    4. LH Arthur Schlosser (7-8-9)
    5. LH Mochihiko Ukyo (10-5-7)
    6. RH Douglas Criss (6-6-7)
    7. RH Jose Alvarez (6-7-6)

This is the stongest part of the team with is pointless with the new era. Daigenault continues to be one of the best closer in the ML. McCloskey has to prove himself to be the #1 setup role. Im debating putting the starters on a pitch count so the bullpen can finish out games

    Outlook
Its Colorado's division to lose. I figure this team could make a semi-run if they get lot of help. But in reality it going to be a battle with San Diego and Los Angeles for 2nd.

    Prediction
    3rd, 84-78
