And my best hitter underperforming until midway thru June...
I'll take my chances with my BA, SLG, HR, etc... you can have your walks and SB

Marshall: MILSWANCAs?
Ted: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.
Barney: Circle gets the square!

In a discussion about the best offense, who gives a shit about how many runs they've allowed?
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.
Ah, give me something clever to say here.
Winning the division > winning the "offense" crown.

I agree, but the discussion was about best offense.

Yeah... I have a piecemeal pitching staff that has underperformed, been injured, and is finally starting to pitch... but that don't impact my offense...
Hell.. I never predicted myself to be in this kind of contention this year... pleasantly surprised that Baltimore is sort of back

lets switch divisions, and see how good or bad your team becomes..
KBSL - Atlanta Hawks
Arizona gm - MSL
Yeah... the AL has had it REAL easy thru the history of this league
Is there an echo in your pants? Because that much talk out of an anal orifice bouncing off of a hard head can sometimes bring that result.

(The second time is not in the records, that is the lost season, but Anaheim was so good that they actually won the WS again.)
In terms of GM skill, Saber really is hard to beat as in the team's worst years he can make the most of a roster that is limited compared to a talent laden team.

03-05 and 2014 were the only years the Angels have finished sub-.500...scary.
I'm just happy to finally get above .500 with Texas...I've never seen a team in worse shape when I took them over. Few good prospects (and the ones that were good died), nobody good in the MLB sans two players, and awful financial shape with a low payroll...it's been quite an uphill climb.

We never actually played the '03 season.
Texas asked to buh-ring it. It's already been Barrot-ten.
