Bottom Line:
I wasn't too happy about San Diego's first round exit in the playoffs last year. I revamped the rotation by adding Farina and Faria. I added McBridge and Cendejas to the offense. If my short stop Richard Hardy fills out he's a beast and moves to 3rd or 4th in the order. I got too many starting pitchers this offseason. Pizzaro a 17 game winner last year, and free agent addition move to the pen. Which I don't mind because if injuries hit the rotation I have three starters back there who all did well last year.
That means I also have three decent pen arms in AAA I could trade off or keep as insurance. Overall as some of my people fill out including future ace Uppercut. I should have a very good team the next few years. A filled out Hardy and a developed Barboza could join Diez, McBride, and Orvis to form one of the better lineups in the NL West.
My expectations this year are to win 95+ games, and make it to the NLCS and take it from there.
