Not a bad sim... keeping pace in the division and wild card races.

Its not a question of if, but when Saget and Fulton will get the call

    7-7 sim

    1-2 vs ANA
    3-0 vs BAL
    1-2 vs KC
    1-2 @ BAL - HA
    1-1 @ TB

    Batting AVG: .241 (27th)
    Homeruns: 58 (11th)
    Walks: 155 (26th)
    Stolen Bases: 35 (24th)
    Runs Scored: 242 (26th)

    Pitching ERA: 6.02 (28th)
    Opponents AVG: .308 (28th)
    HRs Allowed: 67 (T-24th)
    Walks Allowed: 199 (T-20th)
    Runs Allowed: 350 (28th)

SP Philip Padro had a very good May going 4-1 with a 4.03 ERA, big improvement over his 1st month. On the other side Stephen Johanson went into a big tailspin in May, but he only made 2 starts. Closer Hector Valencia picked up his pace getting a total of saves so far and dropping his ERA to 3.12.

Felipe Benitez finally picked up his 1st win of the season and it was against Baltimore. No run support or bullpen help for FB.

The lineup been horrible, the only bright spot is 2B Larry Jackson 1.0 star, with a .342 avg and .833 OPS.

    Subject: Contract extension question
    Dear Sir,
My contract expires after this season.
I would like to resign, so please let's talk!

    Regards,
    Carlos Alvarez

Sounds like he REALLY wants a new contract soon.

Development news, this sim been pretty nice for me
Felipe Benitez increases his Control Talent from 7 to 9 .
now his talent level is 10-9-10, where it used to be, hopefully he's ratings can reach it.

Lanny Leslie increases his Contact vs Righties from 6 to 7 .
getting back to his old level, his play better pick up also.

Christopher Ash increases his Control Talent from 8 to 10 .
Christopher Ash increases his Movement vs Righties from 7 to 8 .
Christopher Ash increases his Overall Movement from 7 to 8 .
Christopher Ash increases his Movement Talent from 8 to 10 .
Finally someone else with talent in AAA, could be ready soon, and my bullpen really needs him.

Bryon Countryman increases his Movement vs Lefties from 7 to 8 .
Antonio Depaz increases his Contact vs Lefties from 5 to 6 .
top prospect getting closer to the majors

I think its pretty insane that Barco is hitting .375 and is getting owned by Marceau's .448 BA.

And they are both getting owned by Gabriel Moreno and his .395 BA and his predicted homerun total of 78.

Barco is on pace for like 67 doubles. Four hitters could top 230+ in hits.

Marceau needs to get his homers up to actually look like an MVP candidate... and the fact that my team lacks power, and needs another power threat.

You think it matters if he gets 273 hits, 100+ RBIs and a .450 BA?

I sure as hell don't... but the game will probably detect his homers as a laughably low number and snub him. I'll take the .450 average and the fact that he doesn't strike out over homers though.

And fortuna is just an OBP Machine.

Moreno would have to die literally for him not to win MVP.

    The Nationals have no comment.

    Good news for Texas!!!!!!

Sunday 6/1/2020: Red hot Rybicki and Moreno win Batter of the Month award
Texas' third baseman Bruce Rybicki had some reason to celebrate, as the league named him the AL Batter of the Month. Bruce pounded opposing pitchers, hitting .432 with 6 and 27 RBI while slugging .716. While compiling an on base percentage of .474, Bruce hit .381 and slugged .598. He has collected 44 runs batted in this year. He's 1st in the AL in batting!

    Rybicki = God
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

Lost talent on a spect... that is exactly what I DON'T need....

But the good news is, lost 4 of 6 to Toronto and moved back into last in the AL East
