I am hoping to get at least one of Saget/Fulton/Hobbs up by the all-star break. The rotation is really struggling.

Sunday 6/1/2020: Felipe Benitez shuts out Tampa Bay on 2 hits
TAMPA BAY - Great days are rare. But not for Toronto's right-hander Felipe Benitez. Tampa Bay found out the hard way that he is among the leagues top pitchers, getting just 2 hits. It's his 1st shutout this season, and the 2nd time he has done it in his career. Benitez (2-4) fanned 6 and walked 3, throwing 105 pitches. 'My catcher called a very good game. I have to give credit to him.' The hitting star for Toronto was leftfielder Lanny Leslie, he stroked 3 hits in 4 AB, homering once, scoring two runs. Toronto improved its record to 25-31, scoring 4 runs on 8 hits.
Felipe Benitez has been on a tear recently, actuially having the chance of winning games.
Bryon "Soupy" Countryman is having a great season in his 2nd full year, 7-4, 4.01 ERA, 94.1 IP, and 89 K's (2nd in the AL) and having an out-standing June 3-0, 2.08 ERA, 26.0 IP, 6 ER, 29 K's.
Even Philip Padro has turned into a good starter, winning 5 games in a row.
Expecting better things from Stephen Johanson, I guess everything can't be all that good.
Bullpen still sucks though.
Getting closer to our goal of .500 lately, but my Pyt.Rec. 25-43, +7. We'll see how the team holds up.

I'm happy to say, my team rebounding quite nicely from a horrible previous sim. Washington went 10-3 to gain 3 games on the Marlins and are now only 2 games out.

Barreras has got to be an automatic for batter of the month. In 12 games so far he is batting .490 with 5 homers and 21 RBI.
For the first time this season my rotation is all pitching good at the same time. A combined 8-2 with nobody having an ERA over 4.00 so far this month.

It was just well overdue my friend.... That many seasons of staying in the playoffs, led to the destruction of the farm. Bad luck in FA and trading then finished off the chance of staying amung the top teams... a couple of seasons and I'll be back, though....

My offense is stale. I'm going to have to change the lineup around. Waring prolly isn't my answer for a #5 either. Oh well, he's cheap.
