In the year... 2020, maaan will still be aliveeee!
2019 Goods:
Yeah... about 2019. Wasn't it just fun? I thought so. I made one real move, and that was acquiring Jess Tiano. The rest, as they say, is sex. Turns out an afterthought from the marlins would be the piece to help Wayne Hage bust through. And then Javy Farina came along, and we whipped it. Whipped it good. Chris Shrout continued his HGH enhanced production, a man who never topped 35 doubles or 95 RBI's, has had 98 doubles and 253 RBIs over the last two seasons. He's also hit over .300 and posted ridiculous OBP's during that course. Gil Cendejas just missed 100 RBIs, posting yet another .400 plus OBP year and had a career high 47 doubles. And then, there was Jarrod Saltamalacchia's revival. I also locked up Fred Luera cheaply for awhile. Thank you, Tampa Bay.
The Bads:
My vision. For some reason I thought Rod Mendez had higher endurance when I signed him. Maybe he lost it along the way, maybe he never had it to begin with. Fortunately, 3.1 million is chump change compared to the ridiculous contracts thrown out there by bad, bad teams. Sadly, the mets (damn iceholes), stole yet another prize from us. I tried bringing back Joe Torres but someone had to offer multiple years (waves arms angrily at Shadow).
The Nows:
Couldn't bring back Torres, so I shelled out a big one year deal to McKain's former lover, Bob Zimmerman. He takes over Torres old role as a back end starter. To fill up depth for the infield, and to boost fan support a little, I brought in 1B/3B Brett Bonvechio. Seems like a safe buy to bring power and defense off the bench. There will be several changes with the pitching staff again, as the offense primarily stays the same. John Jones will eventually replace Saltamalacchia on the roster.

We'll concede the division to the reds, so that BJD doesn't run crying to mommy dearest. For the sake of the league, we wouldn't want that.
