loughran is a beast... he put up solid numbers offensively, had one of the better ranges for a center fielder out there and he didnt commit an error. the other guy who was battling for the final spot was grady sizemore, who committed a pitiful 19 errors in center field.

Edwin Oliveria is for sure in the top ten of catchers.
I think Todd Bearden is a Top Ten 1B.
Rookie of the Year SS Erubiel Valverde put up better numbers than a lot of that list.
Christopher Shrout at 3B in PIT would also be worthy of the top 10.

I think the problem is there was too much emphasis on power and not about the total players numbers. Either that, or a rust belt bias.

Lund and Valencia on there, woo.

Sanor and Banuelos about where I expected them to be. Same for Vladdy.

I dont regret dealing Todd Bearden but I think Bearden and Bartel deserve more consideration. Both are Sean Casey type hitters.

I got a couple of guys with Byrum and Neely, but how close was Gonzalo Rodriguez to making the SP list?

I would think 18-8, 3.26 ERA, 223.2 IP, 196 K's, 1.12 WHIP would have put him pretty close.

everyone that think their guys should get in should maybe possibly tell me who they think should come off. because you know, i think felts aybar and rodriguez from my squad shouldve got on... but i cant justify taking anyone else off. bartel for rodriguez i agree with actually, bartel is pretty one dimensional offensively, but he has a slick glove at first and i shouldve given him more love.

    shrout... 7/7/7/5/5... .295/16/94... 35 doubles, 3 triples... 18 errors at 3rd... 0 stolen bases
    galeana... 8/9/5/6/6... .296/12/63... 45 doubles, 12 triples... 12 errors at 3rd, 5 at 2nd... 100 stolen bases

shrout gets a resounding no to getting on the list

    valverde... 6/7/7/9/7... .305/17/94... 29 doubles, 4 triples... 10 errors... 12 stolen bases
    guzman... 8/6/7/9/8... .267/21/77... 21 doubles, 6 triples... 17 errors at short, 7 at 3rd... 35 stolen bases
    taylor... 8/9/6/3/9... .267/17/99... 36 doubles, 3 triples... 11 errors... 12 stolen bases

valverde didnt get in on the basis that he only really did it for one year. after further review, id probably put him in over joel guzman... taylor up to 9, valverde to 10.

oliveira i didnt notice due to injury... but on a serious level, the guy is pretty much the same player as larry gama, and larry gama is my backup catcher. henry miller's offensive numbers are pretty mediocre... but he gets bonus points for playing all 162 games as a catcher. plus defensively hes better than oliveira. oliveira gets a resounding NO from the committee... which is just me.

bearden is a 2 star player. sadly, hes in the argument, because of a lack of quality 1st baseman in the league... but its him or bartel now, and id stick with bartel.

parker and zeke reyes are pretty similar ball players... reyes had higher ratings, so i gave him the nod, because he could put up better numbers if he ever played to his ratings.

pretty close, but this league is STACKED with pitchers. over the next couple years, when halsey, danks, fischer amongst others get old and fall off... guys like the trio in arizona, sam rodriguez, gonzalo rodriguez etc will start to head onto the list.

for the record, ill edit the list anytime a change is made... so bartel and valverde have been added on
