MILWAUKEE -- Scott Rolen's second home run in as many days, off Brewers closer Mike Adams in the ninth inning, gave the Cardinals a 3-2 comeback victory over Milwaukee at Miller Park on Sunday.
Rolen, who entered Saturday's game hitting .125 on the season, capped off a roaring weekend in which he put up six base hits, three for extra bases, and four RBIs in two games. His line-drive shot made a winner of Jason Marquis, who made it three straight excellent starts for the St. Louis pitching staff.

Marquis (2-0) struggled a bit early, spotting the Brewers single runs in the first and second, but got locked in after a third-inning leadoff double by Junior Spivey. The right-hander retired the last 18 batters he faced and held Milwaukee to three hits and a walk overall. He struck out five.

Rolen drove in the first Cards run with an RBI single in the fourth to score Albert Pujols. The tying run came across on a bizarre play in which Rolen doubled to second, and a pair of defensive miscues allowed Pujols to come all the way around from first base.

The Cardinals are 6-4, the first time they've been two games over .500 this season, and alone in first place in the National League Central.
