Dexter Fowler Signs With Cardinals

I am really confused by this. I understand that the Cardinals are a good team but he had a good thing going on there in Chicago and it surprises me to see him sign with a rival team like this. Can't imagine he is going to be received well in Chicago when he goes back.

Eh, he had a deal with Baltimore last offseason before he changed his mind and returned to the Cubs and accomplished the ultimate goal, so it makes sense for him to cash in now with another team, and the Cards were eager to avenge Jason Heyward's defection.

Plus... very crowded outfield for the Cubs. Almost have to play Heyward in Center with his hitting last year. Haven't they already traded Solis too?

Yeah, they traded Soler to KC for Wade Davis. I like how Soler went from some teams' preferred choice to Cespedes, to "That's all KC got for Wade Davis?"
