Albert Pujols, he's Alber Pujols. He's best hitter in the game.

Carpenter. Pujols is putting up the numbers Cardinals fans expect, Carpenter is living beyond expectations this season and stepping up as the ace since Mulder has been... meh.

Chris Carpenter without a doubt. He's never had an ERA below 3 before in his career and is certainly capable of winning 20 games this year and that's not a homer pick.

Chris Carpenter must be on steroids.

I thought last year was his career year, oops I guess. His K/9 is almost 9 and batters are only hitting .225 off of him. He is a definite Cy Young canidate! Assuming Clemens slides a bit. I know he is in great shape but that's a lot of work to keep that kind of effort up.

Yep Carpenter. I figured he would have a nice year, but I didn't imagine him to be this solid. Cardinals are a solid all around team, so it is a tough choice, but Carpenter takes the crown.

Debating how much losing Pujols, Edmonds, Carpenter or Morris would have hurt the Cards.

I'll go with Isringhausen for the heck of it and because if they didn't have a solid closer they lose a lot more.
    I aim to try
