    Player Wainwright has good rehab start

    Wainwright pitched brilliantly in his third Minor League rehabilitation start on Saturday night, turning in 4 2/3 dominating shutout innings for Double-A Springfield. He allowed three hits, struck out seven and didn't walk a batter. Wainwright threw 64 pitches, including 43 for strikes.

    In terms of results, it was exactly what the Cards were hoping to see from Wainwright. It might even have been enough to get him back on the Major League roster.
    Good news for the Cardinals. Wainwright could make a start for the Cardinals as early as Friday.

    Don't know if I rather have him in the rotation or the bullpen.
