Cardinals beat the Mets in 14 innings.
Skip Schumaker had 6 hits, which is the most any Cardinal has had in a game since 1935. Pujols hit a two run homer in the 14th inning to help the Cardinals beat the Mets 10-8.
Now I guess we can wait for the doom and gloom posts about how Franklin blew a lead in the 9th inning. lol It was nice to be able to at least post something positive with all the doom and gloom going around in the Cardinals forum lately.
Now back to your regularly schedualed doom and gloom posts.

Its good to see MVP get out of his slump but sad to see the bullpen suck more and more.

No, just the Crads bullpen showing its true colors.

haha, well, it was a good game, save for Joe Smith and the Cardinals bullpen. I was at the game, so I couldn't tell, but I heard that there were a couple plays where the Mets were on the wrong side of a bad call. I think it was Reyes at second, when Izturis supposedly bobbled the ball, and Endy at first was safe. Anyone see those plays and have an opinion?

I didn't see the entire game but bad calls are in every game and never cost anyone the game.
