Mulder won his seventh straight tonight as he pitched seven innings and allowing three. Mulder has made this staff ten times better than last year. Keep it up Mulder cause it is great to see you in the NL. Woody Williams who?

And Haren has been extremely impressive, too...Heh.
Barton is so going to make that trade look horrible.
I hope you were being sarcastic about haren because he is 1 - 6 and on pace to lose 20 games...and are you saying Barton is going to be so good that it's gonna make the A's come out on top here? The kid is only 19...anything can happen. He is going to have to change positions, we have about 4 catchers ahead of him in the system...so he's going to have to play 1b or be a dh, but he's a good 3 or 4 years away from being with the A's

I don't think I can forgive Billy for this trade. I knew we were getting ripped off.
I don't think I can forgive Beane for this also. Mulder was the last piece to the Cards' success (a chance to win the championship).Originally Posted by A's Baby Girl

Haren is young though, I really think he has the stuff to be a pretty damn good pitcher one day (not Mulder like, but still good.) Anyway, Mulder has really put to rest any possible grumblings that he was damaged goods going to the Cards. And like ATCF mentioned, the last piece to the puzzle. It's turning out to be a great move for Jocketty, no surprise.

A's better hope that Haren and Calero pan out or Walt rip Beane off pretty good.
