Scott Rolen underwent season-ending surgery to repair his left shoulder on Tuesday.
Doctors removed scar tissue and his left shoulder was manipulated to aid the restoration of his range of motion. He should be recovered in time for spring training
The Cards really need this guy to come around. They have a lot of money sunk into him and he needs to get healthy and produce. When healthy, he is without a doubt the best defensive third baseman.
