    Considering he missed 18 games this season. and Ryan Howard had one of the best offensive seasons in recent memory. ITS CALLED MOST VALUABLE PLAYER!

    Sour grapes by the guy that lost. The award is the Most Valuable Player, not the Most Valuable Player on the Best Team. If Carl Crawford had hit .338 with 45 HR's and 130 RBI's and the D-Rays still finished in last place, he still shoulda won it.

    Pujols was THE MOST VALUABLE player on his team and is better than Howard soooooo he was snubbed. Old argument.

    This is quite out of character for Pujols. He is usually very reasonable. He understands the game and what the MVP really is. Yes he is a very valuable player, but Howard had a better year.

    More homers does not mean better year IMO.
