Juan Encarnacion was the only Cardinal player missing from the team's World Series celebration Sunday.
When asked why Encarnacion was missing, manager Tony La Russa suggested it was "probably because he didn't play much" in the Series' final four games. That sounds like La Russa thinks Encarnacion was pouting. If this is the real reason why he missed the event, perhaps it's time for the Cards to peddle Encarnacion, who is signed for another two years.

Yikes, I hope he wasn't.. I was wondering what happened to him during the Series! Maybe he should grow up and realize that he is playing on a team sport, not an individual sport. These athletes think the world revolves around them as individuals and they have lost perspective of what they are really doing for a living. I am soo jealous that they get to play my favorite sport and all they can think about is why am I not playing.. BOOO HOOOO!
