I just love all of the "true baseball fans" that have nothing better to do than to find something to attack the Yankees.
Did they lose to the RedSox in the ALCS last year? Yes. If your such of a knowledgable baseball fan, Saber, say it the way it is. Stop acting like a 8 year old kid. The Yankees did not have any solid starters and were lucky to win the first 3 games. With Schilling and Pedro then how Lowe pitched...big f-en mystery how they put it together and not won 4 in a row vs the Yankees but vs the Cardinals.
All you want to say is the biggest choke...but in a short series the RedSox should have beat the Yankees. I am not discounting a tremendous effort by Schilling but their bullpen was much better and Rivera was due vs the RedSox to have his clock cleaned. The Yankees did not have a starter they could count on like in the past with Pettitte or even Clemens.
Back to original point, Twins and A's were among 12 American League teams not good enough to make the ALCS. I guess the truth hurts if you think that is poorly worded.

I never said the A's were going to win the Wild Card. I said we're tied for it right now and back in the race after everyone wrote us off.
I'm sure Joek is just too busy on "official" Yankee business
I enjoyed them losing to the Marlins more than the Redsox. Just cause one team had only a few dollars, while the other had a few billion dollars.
Marshall: MILSWANCAs?
Ted: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.
Barney: Circle gets the square!

And to all the Zito haters;
Zito went 6-0 with a 2.51 ERA in July. And is now 10 - 8 for the season with a 3.72 ERA.
