Shut The **** Up!!!!!
I am sick and ****ing tired of ESPN getting on Francona for starting Wakefield over Beckett last night. There was no ****ing choice!! Beckett had a stiff back and a sore arm. Do you honestly think he could have been as good as he was in Game 1? Wakefield won 17 games in the regular season and pitched well for the most part. The only person to hit him hard was Blake and that was a solo shot. If anyone is to blame it is the Red Sox offense for not being able to crush Westbrook and Byrd. Here's someone else to blame, the Indians!! They were a better team coming in IMO and that's why I picked them to go all the way before the playoffs started. If I have to hear one more idiot on ESPN Radio or Jim Rome or where ever say that Francona messed up by not pitching Beckett, I am going to the ESPN Campus and going postal!! It was the right choice!!!!

Re: Shut The **** Up!!!!!
A wise man once told me that great pitchers should be able to win games even if they're injured.
Just saying.

Re: Shut The **** Up!!!!!
Yes a wise man did say that and is right but in this case was it necessary for him to pitch? It's not like it was an elimination game. Wakefield won 17 games and has post season success and was going up against Paul Byrd.
