I was only talking about the Oriole SPs, not the entire division's. The East isn't a lot worse though...look at the Yankee and Red Sox rotations, Bedard, Guthrie, Halladay, Marcum, Kazmir, Shields...not too shabby if you ask me.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

Mussina, Edwin Jackson, Casey Fossum, Trachsel, Cabrera, Towers. Point is I will take the division with 4 out of 5 teams are in the top 10 in ERA. Another point is the O's suck balls.

along but look at who has posted since your hot streak that DID NOT post when your club was playing bad.

May 30th, the day we were 14.5 games back. Go **** yourself, and do research so next time you look like less of an ass.

AL East: 2 Teams who would tie for or win every division.
Yankees: Highest team AVG, SLG, OBP, OPS, RBIs, Hs. #3 Most HRs.
Pitching: Padres/Red Sox 1-2 in ERA. Dodgers lead in Ks, DRays #4. SHO, Padres-Red Sox 1-2.

Your really excellent division has a bunch of good to excellent starters beating up on some of the worst hitting teams in the Majors. Or, it has excellent pitching raping good hitting. Either way, it's fairly obvious the NL West cannot play a well rounded game. The Red Sox and Yankees however, can. Yankees are right in the middle in ERA, and at the top of basically all hitting. Issue? I see none. We play our assigned teams, if we destroy them, that's what we should do. You play your assigned teams and can't hit at all, well, that's what you do. If we are going to skew lines to make our points, what's the point in arguing. Yankees are as good as any team in the West. And, they are #2 in the East. Point.

And the O's would be with the Giants in the cellar of the NL West

Where are the hitting names? Like the Ray Durhams and the Pedro Felizes, the Marcus Gileses and the Kevin Kouzmanoffs. The Padres don't have any players who played the whole year with their team hitting .300. And the East's pitching is futile? The West's hitting is even worse.

What can I say? Sometimes life steps in the way of message boards...

I think my conduct on this forum before my absence speaks for itself, for those that remember that far back anyway.

That being said, I applaud your apparent super fandom. I know it takes a lot being on these forums everyday, slogging away in the trenches.

Wow, where to start? First off, you are comparing two teams to a whole division. Maybe if you stuck to the argument at hand, you would realize that four of five teams are above .500 unlike the East. The East hasn't been that great for a while now. No valid argument there!

Yes, I went off topic because the statement made was so ******* ridiculous! We aren't talking about the hitters so why bring it up? NL West has the best pitching which is what we were talking about. Stay with me here!!

Yes, our two teams trump your whole division. And the only reason the other teams are down so far is because the two best teams in the Majors beat them all the time. Our division is better than yours, simply. Ask anyone who is impartial and they'll tell you simply.
    Since 2000, a sampling of 7 years:
    ALE: 7 DS, 4 CS, 2 WS-
    NLW: 4 DS, 2 CS, 1 WS.
    Wildcard: 3-2 ALE

Your division may be more exciting, with seesaw season series, and no Yankees pounding the DRays, but our division is still better. I've provided evidence, you haven't. Numbers speak for themselves.

We aren't talking about hitters...we are comparing divisions. Teams are not interchangeable with pitching rotations. They are Pitchers and Hitters. You ignore that fact so you get the sense of victory, when you are clearly deluded. AL East has far superior hitting, and slightly inferior pitching. Point proven.

Re: A big warm thank you to everyone who wrote off the Yankees

I did provide evidence, you choose to ignore it. Two teams trump an entire division? Nope! Sorry! The reason the other teams are so low in standing is because they are no good. NL west has four teams in some kind of race, can't say that about the East. AL East isn't even the best division in it's own league.

As for you second comments, we were talking about pitchers. I can give you the Feliz's of your division and it's just as hilarious but it isn;t what we were talking about. Slightly inferior pitching??? And I'm deluded?

I would root for Bonds any day over a Suckee's team that spends and spends and wins nothing! Past world series are in the past. I am talking now. Steinbrenner is crashing fast. Maybe you need to go to yankee stadium and stand in line and kiss the fat bastards ass. Because you all want to be like him!
Suckees? Wow are you in second grade? I mean honestly is that all you can think of? Whoa thats really funny. And btw the only reason I'm active now is because I'm now home! I was in a flippin boot camp all summer and they didn't have internet so why don't you just stop sayin that.

As for your last comment, it's a step up from mediocre but like a little midget step.
Mr. Madison, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

By far the dumbest post I have ever read in S3F history!
You got one guy comparing 2 starting pitchers to a whole division with another guy, its not that hard to figure out!
