Umm Curt Schilling is a horrible sportsman. Do a google search for "Curt Schilling spouts off." Then read up on your "bloody socked Warrior." Give me a ****ing break. The guy has nice stats, but nothing, and I mean nothing, is more rewarding then shelling his ass in Yankee Stadium. The guy needs to realize, the only thing we care about is how you play. He shuts his ****ing mouth, and he's like Mike Mussina, just not really as good. And FYI, the only reason anyone thinks he's really good, is because he does talk and every ****ing win is such a huge deal. Give me a break. Actions speak louder then words, and, as UCLA has proven, body language is the most important thing a person does, so someone who carries himself like a winner will come off like a winner, whereas someone who tells you there a winner will be considered a ****face, a la Curt Schilling.

I don't believe that my comments were targeted to you and your f-bombs but i'm cool with it. Bottom line, Schilling is a winner and not a bad pitcher as Oasis stated. He busts his ass to help any team he is with and it has paid off. He has brought three teams to the World Series and has the rings to prove that he is a winner, which is something that a guy like Mussina does not have. I'm sure if he was a Yankee, you would be praising Schilling's work ethic and desire to win. I guarantee it.

I find it funny that Curt Shelling failed to take the ball against Chicago last year in the playoffs. For a guy who is such a "hero" and mr. bloody sock warrior he sure wimped out.

If it wasn't for that ankle injury, Schilling would have had another great in year in 2005 like 2004 and the team would have made the playoffs easily. Even if Schilling did pitch in the ALDS, look at what the other 3 pitchers did. Schilling could have gone in and pitched a shutout, and the team still would have lost it. Schilling didn't wimp out in the 2004 postseason right after he was injured, and he pitched very well after he got slaughtered in that first game against the Yankees. I would like to see Mussina try that, lol, and fail. If he didn't wimp out in 2004, he wouldn't wimp out in 2005.

Lol the Red Sox even have a bigger lead now. Josh Jeckett hasn't had any blister problems, Papi has already hit a pair of walk-offs, and Manny is hitting the long-ball just as often as anybody else in baseball. If he didn't have that "power outage" at the very beginning, he would be tied for the ML lead, at least. None of the new guys have pulled an Edgar this year

Red Sox are obviously going to make it to the playoffs this year and maybe go beyond the ALDS & ALCS this year.

Yeah, well the Red SOx are on a hot streak, and we're having inconsistent pitching. I expect the Inconsistent Yankee Pitching to continue, but don't expect such great runs by the Red Sox.

Try comparing the number of WS wins the AL East has to the number of WS wins whichever leage the Padres are in has.
