Congraulations to the Supersonics in getting to the second round.

This was not a contest. Seattle was clearly better than Sacramento and it showed all year. Kings was a great matchup for the Supes.

Yeah it was a good series for the Supes, but now they have to prepare for TDuncan and the Spurs. They play TD very well, but they have to watch out for Parker and Manu.

Oh crap. Seattle is going to be done if they play the Spurs. That may not be the right matchup. I rather like my chances against Phoenix.

The second rounds are going to be great. I am hoping it's Detroit/Indiana and Miami/Washington in the East.

Isnt it ironic that Detroit and Indiana are crossing paths again.

Pistons/Pacers is becoming the hot rivalry in the NBA right now.

I notice, Porter. You must have something vested in AI to defend him vigorously.

I used to hate AI in his younger days. but the past couple of seasons i came to realize that hes more than just jacking up 30 shots a night. The way he gets the crowd in the game. Hes not Larry Bird or Magic when it comes to leadership. I think hes more of an Lead by example guy now. Maybe its because i see a lot of me on the basketball court (or any sport) in him. Off the court he was a loose cannon, but hes really matured the past couple of years. And its going unnoticed, hes not Cassell, Spree, Kidd or someone like that.

AI is okay. I was a huge fan of his in 2001, but then the practice thing and the fact he drove Brown out of town bothered me. To his credit, he worked on his game and he worked on how he could lead this season. We will see if he can keep it up.

One thing about him is that he plays hard and he gives it his all. He tries his best out there which is something I can't say for guys like Wince.

I think had it not been for Larry Brown he would have never gotten that quality that he has now. Yeah he drove him out of town or did he. Larry Brown never stayed at one place longer than 5 years.

Well AI was reportedly late to shootaround when the Sixers were playing the Pistons in what was an elimination game two years ago and that drove Brown to the point where he had to resign. Of course, Brown has plotted to resign for years so he found an opening.

Brown was probably looking for an excuse to get out and he did. I dont think either person was the blame for him leaving. But didnt Iverson help him out a lot during the Olympics as the CAPTAIN.

I think AI's experience in the Olympics may have been the turnaround for him. We will see.

This Indians/Twins game is very long.
